things my high school self would be surprised by

 first of all sit down and buckle your seatbelt cause you're in for a wild ride.

- you are happy

- you actually really like physical affection, and it's one of your love languages

- you have become the fun, strange, interesting sock person

- you are GAY (like so fucking gay-it's okay to gasp)

- you actually had the courage to come out to your family (not everyone yet, but it's a process)

- you have a girlfriend

- you moved in with said girlfriend

- and you actually want to get married some day

- you cut your hair really short

- you enjoy learning about people

- you don't go to church

- being an art major wasn't in the cards for you

- you have also become really interested into shoes

- you made it past high school (even though there were a lot of rough patches afterwards)

- you are in a happy, healthy relationship

- you swear, like probably more than you should

- and you have drank alcohol (just once, but it will happen again)

- the whole dynamic of your family has changed (both with your relationships with them and the people)

- you stole a traffic cone while you were in college

- life is so so so much better than it was in high school

- you have an Instagram that you post pictures of yourself on

- you met your girlfriend while working at a pizza place

- you still don't have a dog, let alone any pets

- you have had sex

- your car isn't dead yet

- you have found your own sense of style and feel really comfortable in it

- you like sushi

- unfortunately you never did really get over the accident prone thing
